Fish Hara Masala (fish in green masala)

This tasty fish dish is good for you and easy on your waistline too! It's also really simple to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of any fish with firm white flesh cut into 1 1/2" thick slices
  • 4 cups Hara Masala (see recipe below)
  • 6-8 tbsps mustard oil
  • Banana leaves to wrap

Preparation:

  • Marinate the fish in the Hara Masala (green masala) for an hour.
  • Place 2 pieces of fish on each banana leaf and pour a tablespoon of mustard oil on it.
  • Wrap tightly and tie the parcel with a string.
  • Steam till cooked.
  • Serve with hot plain boiled rice.
