In the words of my very dear friend Preeti, this drink feels like a warm blanket on the inside! Need I say more? Besides, what more could you ask for as the days get colder? Warm up on a cold day with Preeti's Spiced Apple Cider. You'll be surprised how easy it is to make! This recipe serves 8.
Ingredients:
- 8 cups of apple juice or apple cider
- 1 large 6-inch stick of cinnamon
- 8 cloves
- 4 pods green cardamom split
- 4 peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp ground/crsuhed ginger
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Preparation:
- Put all the ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil on a medium flame.
- Simmer and boil on low heat for another 10 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.
