Guide Review - The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking
First published in 1974, The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking contains over 250 recipes for food that is quick and easy to make. This is not entirely an Indian cookbook as it also contains recipes for cuisines ranging from Chinese to European.
Every recipe contains important information like servings, preparation time and cooking time. The author also adds valuable tips in recipes as needed. You will also find recipes for making basic stuff like stock and white sauce.
The introduction to each chapter (for example soups, drinks, appetizers, etc) has valuable information, tips and interesting facts about the food in the chapter.
I have owned my copy of The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking for more than 15 years and tried many of the recipes in it. I have almost always loved the outcome!
