What do you cook for Easter?
Monday March 17, 2008
If like lots of Indians, you celebrate Easter, you will probably cook your family a special meal for the day. What's on your festive menu? Use the 'Comments' link below this post to share with me and others.
I do like my Mom used to and I suppose you could call it a family tradition now. The meal my Mom usually cooked for us at Easter didn't feature 'fancy dishes'! It was in fact, quite simple. What made it special was the occasion and our family getting together to share it! Here's what she would cook:
- Jeera Rice
- Kofta Curry
- Bund Gobhi Ki Subji
- Rasam
- Kachumbar
- Gulab Jamun (pictured right)
