Start with the cake and try my Mother's recipe. I have NEVER met anyone who does not love my Mama's Christmas Cake. It is so good, one piece is never enough. I am not so fond of Christmas Cake and even I usually end up making a pig of myself over Mum's cake! She bakes at least a dozen cakes and not only do they taste good, they also look gorgeous - Mum decorates them with traditional white, red and green almond icing!
