Raita (a yogurt based side dish) is great to serve with most Indian foods. Besides being delicious, it also serves to cut the heat if served with something spicy! My favorite ways to eat most Raitas is spooned over plain rice or as a dipping sauce for crispy poppadums. That way you can really appreciate all the subtle flavors. Here are three new recipes (and some old favorites too) for Raitas that are perfect to serve this summer. Enjoy!
