A Little Taste Of India

Tuesday July 11, 2006
A little taste of IndiaIf like me, you enjoy collecting cookbooks and trying out the recipes in them, this one is a must-have. A Little Taste Of India offers easy-to-follow and fuss-free recipes for popular and everyday Indian foods and some recipes for preparing basic ingredients like masalas (spice mixes). The book has gorgeous pictures (for every recipe!) that not only depict stages in the preparation of each dish but also give the reader little glimpses of life in India. This is a great cookbook for experienced Indian cooks and novices alike.

Recipe Exchange - Picnic Recipes
Marinating chicken breasts in soy sauce before baking adds extra flavor to this Chinese Chicken Salad recipe from our Guide to Chinese Cuisine. Mandarin oranges add a a tangy taste and the chow-mein noodles add some crunchy texture. Or for a twist on an old favorite try this Chinese Coleslaw with a tangy dressing seasoned with rice vinegar and sesame oil.
